Punjab BISEs Announce Matriculation Results: A Province-Wide Achievement

Comprehensive Result Declaration Across Nine Boards

Punjab The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab have officially declared the results of the matriculation examinations, marking a significant academic milestone for students across the province. This coordinated announcement spans all nine major educational boards: Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha. Each of these boards is responsible for maintaining and regulating the standards of secondary education within its jurisdiction, ensuring a fair and transparent examination and result process.

To mark the importance of this occasion, every board organized a ceremonial event at their respective headquarters. These ceremonies not only highlighted the achievements of the students but also served as formal platforms for the announcement of results. Distinguished guests from the education sector and local dignitaries attended these events, lending prestige to the proceedings and emphasizing the value of educational attainment in society.

Honoring Excellence and Top Achievers

At the heart of the result announcement ceremonies was the celebration of academic excellence. Each board took the opportunity to honor its top-performing students in various streams such as Science, Arts, and Computer Science. These high achievers received awards and certificates, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and academic prowess. By publicly acknowledging their achievements, the boards aim to inspire other students to strive for excellence in their future academic pursuits.

Special attention was given to the diversity of talent, as both male and female students from urban and rural backgrounds were recognized. The official ceremonies saw heartfelt moments as students, accompanied by their families and teachers, were celebrated for overcoming challenges and achieving academic distinction. This public recognition reflects the boards’ commitment to promoting merit and motivating the next generation of students in Punjab.

Multiple Channels for Result Accessibility

Understanding the excitement and anxiety that accompanies result day, Punjab’s BISEs have implemented multiple avenues for students to access their matriculation results. This approach ensures that no student is left out due to technological limitations or connectivity issues.

Official Websites
Each board has uploaded the results on its official website, allowing students to check their marks by entering their roll numbers. This online system is not only convenient but also secure, providing accurate information directly from the source. Despite potential slowdowns due to heavy traffic, this remains the primary mode of result dissemination.

Results Gazette
For students who may not have internet access or prefer traditional methods, printed result gazettes will be made available soon after the formal announcement. These gazettes are distributed to schools and selected public locations, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to check their results.

SMS Service
Anticipating possible website congestion, the BISEs have also introduced a dedicated SMS service for each board. Students simply need to send their roll number to the specific code allotted to their board, and they will receive their result via SMS. This user-friendly solution ensures timely access to results, especially in rural or remote areas with limited internet connectivity.

The SMS codes are:

  • Lahore Board: Send roll number to 800291
  • Rawalpindi Board: Send roll number to 800296
  • Multan Board: Send roll number to 800293
  • Faisalabad Board: Send roll number to 800240
